New Delhi Grilled Chicken Drumsticks
INGREDIENTS
1. 6 pieces chicken drumettes
2. 50g turmeric powder
3. 60g cayenne pepper
4. 30g cumin powder
5. 30g garam masala
6. 3g caraway seeds
7. 100ml unsweetened yogurt
8. 10g fresh coriander leaves, chopped
9. 20ml lemon juice
10. 2g sea salt
11. 2g ginger, minced
12. 2g garlic, minced
13. 2g cloves, ground
14. 20ml olive oil
STEPS
1. Prep the chicken
● Rinse the chicken drumettes and pat them dry with kitchen paper.
2. Marinate
● In a large container, mix all ingredients (chicken + spices + yogurt + herbs) thoroughly.
● Marinate for 2 hours at room temperature.
3. Preheat and bake
● Line a baking tray with parchment paper (or aluminum foil).
● Arrange the marinated chicken legs neatly on the tray.
4. Cooking settings
● Preheat the air fryer/oven to 100°C for 5 minutes.
● Switch to air fry mode at 180°C and cook for 30 minutes.
● For crispier skin, increase the temperature to 220°C and air fry for an additional 5 minutes.
5. Serve
● Pair with salted water-boiled broccoli and baked baguette slices.
