Old-Fashioned Cookies
INGREDIENTS
1. 70g all-purpose flour (low-gluten)
2. 50g powdered sugar
3. 70g unsalted butter
4. 30g egg white
STEPS
1. Cream Butter & Sugar
● Beat the powdered sugar and unsalted butter together until smooth and pale yellow.
2. Mix in Egg White & Flour
● Gradually add the egg white in 2-3 batches while stirring continuously. Fold in sifted flour in 2-3 additions to avoid overmixing.
3. Shape the Dough
● Transfer the batter to a piping bag. Pipe desired shapes onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
4. Bake
● Preheat the oven (or steam-baking oven) to 180°C for 10 minutes. Bake for 18-20 minutes until lightly golden.
